EBI Journal // August 2023
Welcome back to the second edition of the EBI Journal, from the final throes of a hot but eventful summer!
Weโre putting the finishing touches on the vivrant interiors we designed for one of our best clients in Bridgehampton, snuck off for a week with the family to the Motherland (Italy, Amalfi Coast), and had the chance to do an in-depth interview focused on our signature Layered Minimalism design methodology. And thatโs just the start! Read and see each of these adventures in The Latest below, and be sure to follow us on Instagram and Pinterest for exciting tips, styles and new projects. I view social media like my own magazine - a collection of things I do, make and admire.
Weโre always here for feedback, so please donโt hesitate to let us know whatโs on your mind.
Thank you so much!
Elizabeth and Team EBI

BEHIND-THE-SCENES IN BRIDGEHAMPTON
Behind the scenes at our Bridgehampton project, we do a quick walkthrough of a sprawling, six-bedroom estate alongside the classic Hamptonsโ polo fields.
This is our second project with this dream client; hereโs their incredible NYC apartment!
Weโre most proud of this work and canโt wait to show you the final photo set when itโs ready.
TRAVEL DIARY: ITALY
Italy ๐ฎ๐น , a place where time slows down. We wanted our daughters to reconnect with their roots - their paternal grandparentโs home country.
Balancing the demands of my career with the love and laughter shared with my husband and little ones โ the only thing that matters.
Iโm so grateful. ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐งโจ
ABOUT LAYERED MINIMALISM | ARTEMEST
Clean lines and whimsical details characterize Elizabeth Bologninoโs style. Defined as layered minimalism, her signature approach to interior design is composed of inspiration, coming from objects steeped in history, and the concentrated energy of symmetry and clean lines. Meet the designer and discover her timely and timeless design.
BEFORE AND AFTER KITCHEN
Kitchen views at our former Brooklyn home in Ditmas Parkโ an homage to the warmth of our familyโs Italian heritage. ๐ค
For this renovation, we partially removed a wall and replaced it with cabinets, creating a semi-open kitchen while keeping the look and feel of a traditional dining room.
We wanted something that felt clean and contemporary yet warm with character and charm. We incorporated blue-streaked marble, antique brass hardware, warm greige cabinetry & terracotta tilesโ which all counteract with each other, creating a sense of balance and harmony.

SERIE CONSOLE TABLE
Inspired by Art Deco Chinoiserie, with the lines of vintage cars as an influence, the Serie console was born. Itโs a timeless combination of old and new, an iconic piece for the New American Modern.
